Leland Township Library Chromebook Use Procedures
By reading these procedures, and continuing to the use of these computers, you have agreed to abide by them:
Patron is expected to read, understand and sign the Chromebook Borrowing Agreement
Chromebook computers may be taken out of the Library for a period of 7 days with up to two renewals with no prior holds pending
If the Chromebook computer is lost or damaged, charges to the patron’s account will be assessed accordingly
Software or applications may not be downloaded or deleted
Copyright restrictions prevent the copying of programs from the laptop to personal computer
Users agree to immediately report any hardware or software problems to the Library staff

9.Chromebook computers can only be returned to the Circulation Desk during normal Library open hours, they cannot be deposited into the afterhours book drop
10. If the Chromebook computer is not returned, a fee will be charged to the patron’s account and the computer will be disabled remotely
The Library does not monitor and has no control over the information available on the Internet and cannot be held responsible for its content. Parents are advised to supervise their children’s Internet sessions. The Library not responsible for Internet information selected and/or accessed by children.
Viewing of explicit materials by minors is prohibited.
